What causes Bursitis?
Bursitis may be caused by overuse/ repetition, trauma, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, or infection. Even then, sometimes the cause cannot be determined.
What is Bursitis?
Inflammation of the fluid-filled sac (bursa) that lies between a tendon and skin, or between a tendon and bone. Some of the most common places for Bursitis occurs in the shoulder, knee, elbow, and hip. Other areas that my be affected include the Achilles tendon and the foot.
